Murder in the Dressing Room

The London drag scene is on its heels when Lady Lady, one of the premier drag queens of London, is found dead in her dressing room in this uneven novel, which is part mystery novel and part musings on what it means for the author to be in drag and how the rest of the world does not understand them.

Misty Devine is a rising star of the London drag scene, but after a tough show she finds Lady Lady dead in her dressing room. Misty, whose real name is Joe and who works at a hotel in London as an accountant, is wondering who would do such a thing to her drag mother and help close one of the most venerable drag spots in London.

Misty does not believe the police care about Lady Lady, the drag community or catching her killer; as they are in catching the cat burglar. But when it is discovered Lady Lady was wearing a dress stolen by the cat burglar, it is a cat on mouse game to find the killer and the burglar at the same time.
